Shakespeare by the Sea 2009 The Newport Beach City Arts Commission will present Shakespeare by the Sea at Bonita Canyon Sports Park at Bonita Canyon and Mesa View Drives in Newport Beach.
On August 1, its love versus reason and all bets are off in the classic comedic romp, "Love's Labour's Lost" and on August 2, what starts out wrong, love will turn right in the wicked and wild tale of love conquering all in, "As You Like It."
Both of these free programs begin a 7:00pm. Bring your friends, pack a picnic and settle in under the stars this summer for William Shakespeare's classic comedies.

This exhibition, the fourth in an ongoing, triennial series, consists of contemporary work by artist members of California Art Club inspired by the scenery of Malibu. It marks the 100th anniversary of the California Art Club which was founded in 1909.
