Corned Beef & Cabbage: 8 servings
4 medium red potatoes, cut into 1-inch pieces
4 medium carrots, cut into 1-inch pieces
1 medium onion, cut into 6 wedges
1 (2 to 2 1/2 –lb.) corned beef brisket with seasoning packet
Water
8 thin wedges cabbage
¼ cup applesauce
2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
In a 4-6 qt slow cooker, combine potatoes, carrots and onion. Top with corned beef brisket; sprinkle with seasonings from packet. Add enough water to just cover corned beef.
Cover; cook on low setting for 10-12 hours.
About 35 minutes before serving, remove corned beef from slow cooker; cover with foil. Add cabbage wedges to vegetables and broth. Increase heat setting to high; cover and cook an additional 30-35 minutes or until cabbage is crisp-tender.
Meanwhile, in a small bowl, combine applesauce and mustard; mix well.
To serve, cut corned beef across grain into thin slices, With slotted spoon, remove vegetables from slow cooker. If desired, skim fat from juices in slow cooker. Serve vegetables with juices and corned beef with applesauce-mustard mixture.

Easy oven fried chicken recipe.
3 to 4 pounds chicken parts
1/4 cup flour
1 teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1/3 cup butter or margarine
Preheat oven to 425°.
Wash chicken and pat dry with paper towels. In a pie pan, combine flour, paprika, salt and pepper. Coat chicken with the flour mixture.
Put butter in a shallow baking pan; place in oven to melt. When butter is melted, arrange chicken in the baking pan in a single layer, skin side down. Bake at 425° for 30 minutes; turn and bake 15 minutes longer, or until chicken is tender and done. Oven fried chicken recipe serves 4.

1/4 cup Buttermilk, Fluid, 2% Fat
1/2 cup Panko Crumbs
2 tsp Parsley, Freeze-dried
1/2 tsp Dry Mustard
1/4 tsp Salt
1/8 tsp Ground Black Pepper
1/4 cup Sliced Almonds
1 tbsp light butter
Grease a shallow baking pan set aside, preheat oven 450F, rinse fish pet dry with paper towel. Pour buttermilk in a shallow dish, combine bread crumbs, parsley, dry mustard, salt and pepper. Dip fish into buttermilk, then coat fish with crumb mixture place coated fish in prepared baking pan. Sprinkle fish with almonds. drizzle melted butter over fish bake for 20 minutes
